In a neat bit of casting news, NBC has announced that Unfaithful actress Diane Lane will portray former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for an upcoming four-hour miniseries.

The still untitled project will be helmed by Frozen River director Courtney Hunt. NBC is currently looking for a screenwriter to pen the miniseries and the project will avoid competing with director James Ponsoldt’s already-announced biopic Rodham by covering a different period in her career.

A press release from NBC stated that the miniseries “will begin with Clinton living in the White House as her husband is serving the second of his two terms as president. In the years following, she would eventually become a United States senator, run for president and, ultimately, serve the country as secretary of state,” covering her career from 1998 to present. Conversely, Rodham will cover Clinton’s early years and her rise to political prominence.
