As you know, Eddie Murphy was developing a Beverly Hills Cop TV series with Shawn Ryan (The Shield) and CBS. Barry Sonnenfeld (Mib) was brought on to direct, and it starred Brandon T. Jackson, Kevin Pollak, and David Denman. They shot the pilot, it tested well, but for one reason or another the network decided to pass on the show, and no other network jumped in to pick it up. 

If you were looking forward to seeing the adventures of Axel Foley continue, don't worry, because according to Ryan, Paramount Pictures has put a new movie into development! Here are the tweets he sent out.
