We see a lot of arguments on this site about queerbaiting in television shows (most frequently with shows with out creators). But is it a problem? Twenty years ago, we were thrilled by subtext. Now we expect more – and we should. But how do you solve a problem as old as television itself?
As expected, Monsters University dominated the box office. But The Heat took in $40 million, while the big budget White House Down disappointed with only $26 million. Does this mean that we need to stop blowing everything up and maybe try and laugh every once in a while?
