Los Angeles, July 1: Singer Jessica Simpson gave birth to her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson, a retired footballer.
The baby boy, named Ace Knute Johnson, was born here Sunday at Ceders-Sinai Medical Center via a scheduled C-section. His middle name honours his father's paternal grandfather, Knute Johnson, reports eonline.com.
Jessica's father, Joe Simpson, took to Twitter to share his excitement.
"Very blessed to celebrate the birth of my new grandson," he wrote.
Jessica and Eric already have a one-year-old daughter Maxwell.
