Washington, July 1: Disney-Pixar animated prequel 'Monsters University retained the top spot at box-office for the second week with 46.1-million-dollar earnings.
Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy starrer 'The Heat' earned 40 million dollars to land in second place in its opening weekend, Fox News reported.
Paramount's zombie thriller 'World War Z' was at 3 rd place with 29.8 million dollars.
'White House Down' was placed at fourth place with 25.7-million-dollar debut haul.
