A Cirque Du Soleil performer died Saturday night following a 50-foot fall during a performance of Ka at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, according to Cirque Du Soleil's official Facebook page. Sarah "Sassoon" Guyard, an artist on the production, fell to her death after reportedly slipping out of her safety wires. However, the exact case of death has yet to be released. According to The Hollywood Reporter Sarah's death marks the first reported onstage death in the 30-year history of Cirque du Soleil and occurred during Ka's closing "Final Battle" scene.
