Enter the Dragon star Jim Kelly has died, aged 67.

The actor's ex-wife Marilyn Dishman explained in a Facebook post that the actor passed away yesterday (June 29), Examiner reports.

Dishman did not reveal the cause of the star's death in the post.

The actor and martial artist became popular after starring alongside Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon in 1973.

Kelly became a professional tennis coach after putting an end to his acting career, and he made very few on-screen appearances after he left acting in 1983.

He made his final movie appearance in 2009's direct-to-video release Afro Ninja and drew huge crowds when he attended San Diego Comic-Con four years ago.
