It has a lot in common with Olympus Has Fallen, but Roland Emmerich's White House Down seems to be trying something different with the terrorists attack the White House premise, adapting a lighter tone, and going for a buddy cop vibe between Channing Tatum's policeman Johns Cale and Jamie Foxx, as the President of the United States. Synopsis: While on a tour of the White House with his young daughter, a Capitol policeman springs into action to save his child and protect the president from a heavily armed group of paramilitary invaders. Released: 28th June (U.S.)/ 6th September (U.K./Irl) »
