Despite its critics, Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton’s The Collector has done well enough at the box-office and on DVD to warrant a sequel, which has been dubbed The Collection.

Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena’s (who was kidnapped in the first film) wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector’s booby trapped hide out and save Elena from his sadistic rituals.

Thanks to FX guru Gary Tunnicliffe we have the first teaser art (which looks like a quick photoshop job) for The Collection which it is rumoured will be shot in 3D …

Josh Stewart, who played Arkin in the first film, is back for the sequel; as is director Marcus Dunstan who will be directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Patrick Melton. »
