To celebrate the 200-year anniversary of Pride and Prejudice, the BBC is fashioning a three-part miniseries of Death Comes to Pemberley, P.D. James's book about Jane Austen's Elizabeth Bennet, Fitzwilliam Darcy, and George Wickham. The Americans star Matthew Rhys has been cast as Darcy, Deadline reports. He'll play the part alongside Anna Maxwell Martin (Becoming Jane, Bleak House) as Elizabeth and Matthew Goode (A Single Man, Watchmen) as Wickham. The series should debut toward the end of 2013. »
