Upfront Week has come, gone and left millions of dazed TV Fanatics in its wake.

With a slew of new programs headed to your television this fall - from dramas to sitcoms, superheroes to hostage takers - it can be confusing to decide where your priorities lie. So let's take a look at some of the more intriguing head-to-head battles, shall we?

In this first new show-down of the 2013-2014 schedule, we focus on Monday nights at 10.

CBS will air Hostages (Trailer), a drama that stars Toni Collette as a surgeon who is taken hostage by Dylan McDermott's traitorous FBI agent and given an impossible choice on the eve of a major procedure.

NBC will counter with The Blacklist, in which James Spader plays a bad guy who works with the good guys to capture an even worse bad guy (Trailer).
