Darclight Films announces the acquisition and Cannes market premiere of psychological horror-thriller Contracted. First-look screenings will be presented to buyers starting next week.
Contracted takes the traditional zombie story and seamlessly transforms it into something wholly modern and horrifying, a macabre trip that needs to be experienced to believe it.
Contracted tells the terrifying tale of a young girl who has a one-night stand with a stranger, contracting what she thinks is a sexually transmitted disease, but it is actually something far worse. As things begin to crumble around her, she's sent on a disturbing and bloodcurdling journey, sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. »
