Alicia Vikander Joins 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' As The Female Lead Opposite Tom Cruise

Weren’t we just saying the pretty and talented Swedish actress Alicia Vikander was on the rise and would soon be leaving the period-piece ghetto? Frankly, we’ve had our eye on the actress for a while. We called her one of the actresses to watch in early 2012 and she’s fulfilled her promise with excellent turns in “A Royal Affair” and “Anna Karenina.” She can act and it hasn't gone unnoticed.
