Douglas Schulze’s Mimesis was a film that caught me off guard. To be honest, I didn’t think I’d like it, and was pleasantly shocked when not only did I Really enjoy it (review), but also spent a lot of time thinking about it after it was over. It’s a good look at how far some “fans” will go in order to get closer to a real life horror film. Judging from how well received the film has been with horror fans, this news should bring smiles across plenty of faces.
