HBO has renewed "Veep" for a third season, scheduled to run for 10 episodes in 2014, the network announced Wednesday (May 1).

Julia Louis-Dreyfus heads an all-star ensemble as Vice President Selina Meyer and her staff working West Wing-adjacent. The show has received three Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Comedy Series, and one win, for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy.

Star Matt Walsh, who plays Mike McClintock, the communications direction for the vice president, recently told Zap2it that should they be renewed for a third season, he's hoping to perhaps reveal more of Mike's life outside the office -- specifically the boat that landed him in some serious debt.

Perhaps that's what we'll see next season. "Veep" is currently three episodes into its second season on HBO. It airs Sunday nights at 10 p.m. Et/Pt. »
