No, this is not another April Fool's Day joke. Seth Rogen really does want to make "Pineapple Express 2."

"For the last few years we've been talking about what a sequel would be, and it is the plot we put in the movie," Rogen said of a possible follow-up to the 2008 comedy hit, starring himself and James Franco. "Whether that hurts its chances or helps, I don't know."

Rogen and co-stars Danny McBride and Craig Robinson were all together for a Q&A following MTV's Sneak Peek Week screening of their new apocalypse comedy "This Is the End," which also happens to be Rogen's directorial debut. ("You just have to be the most sober" on set, he said of directing.)

For Robinson, whose character was very thoroughly killed in "Pineapple Express," there's even a chance of returning, according to Rogen.

"Craig's dead, but his twin could be alive!"
