Although I can’t say that I know anyone who is presently longing for more exorcism movies, that isn’t stopping the greasy Hollywood machine from farting another one into theaters. I personally gave up on this subgenre long ago, though it would appear someone keeps watching these things. Be sure to raise your hand so everyone can see who to blame. The folks at Screen Gems are currently putting together the exorcism flick “Beware the Night” with Eric Bana, Edgar Ramirez, and Olivia Munn. Scott Derrickson, the man responsible for both “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” and “Hellraiser: Inferno”, is bringing the project to the big screen. He reportedly co-wrote the movie with Paul Harris Boardman. Eric Bana will portray an Irish Catholic cop who joins forces with a priest to battle the forces of evil. Ramirez will play the man of the cloth while Munn will portray the cop’s wife. »
