As the James Gunn-directed space epic’s cast slowly fills out, Guardians of the Galaxy is currently prepping production in England for a late-June filming start date. In light of set preparations, UK motorcycle manufacturers have been approached by Marvel, who are apparently seeking “[multiple] futuristic looking electric bikes.” The Motorbike Times reports, “The comic book movie makers have contacted the Motorcycle Industry Association (McIa) and explained that the bike will be used in a major production that will be shot in England in an imaginary 2045.” Although Guardians of the Galaxy isn’t named as the major production these prospective futuristic bikes will feature in, it is the only Phase Two cinematic venture that’s slated to film in the UK, other than The Avengers 2.
