Through out Happy Endings’ third season, a dark cloud has never been too far out of sight, drizzling rain on the severely underrated ABC comedy. Each episode is filled to the edge with laughs, but its viewership is constantly dwindling. We’re not yet at the point when Internet audiences count for much and ABC isn’t helping matters. Once airing behind Modern Family on Wednesday nights, Happy Endings did well, and then it was moved to Tuesdays, where ratings dropped and it was repeatedly benched and moved around. It now rests on Friday nights, where shows go to die. All seemed lost until USA Network stepped in to (possibly) save the day.

Obviously feeling ABC was poised to cancel Happy Endings, Deadline reported Sony TV has been reaching out to other networks, particularly USA and NBC, to see if it can find a new home for the beloved comedy, »
