We'll tackle that headline in order beginning with the Interstellar news. While in New Orleans, filming the upcoming HBO crime series "True Detective" with Woody Harrelson for Sin Nombre director Cary Fukunaga, Matthew McConaughey was asked about being offered a role in Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. Without so much as a clue to his character he said, "I'm confirming," and left it at that. All we know about the character is his name is Cooper and all we know about Interstellar is that it involves time travel and alternate dimensions in a story that sees a group of explorers travel through a wormhole. The script was written by Nolan's brother, Jonathan Nolan, and is based on scientific theories developed by a Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist, a gravitational physicist and astrophysicist at Caltech. Like Nolan's Inception, the story is said to be "complex and multi-layered". I'm not sure a filming date has been announced, »
