The adaptation of Gillian Flynn's mystery novel adaptation Dark Places has Chloe Grace Moretz in negotiations to join Charlize Theron. Moretz would play Diondra, according to Deadline, in the story which tells of a woman forced to re-face the killing of her family over twenty years ago. In Dark Places, Theron plays Libby Day who testified against her brother in the killing of her family and now, she's faced with a group called The Kill Club who believe he isn't guilty in the murder, and set out to prove his innocence. Gilles Paquet-Brenner directs as well as adapting the script based on the 2009 novel. Theron also produces Denver and Delilah Productions. Moretz can be seen next in the very-eagerly-anticipated Kick-Ass 2 which hits theaters this summer, on August 16th.
