IFC's released its first trailer for "Maron," the network's new series starring and based on the life of comedian and podcaster Marc Maron. The 10-episode season will premiere on Friday, May 3 at 10pm, and features Maron as himself, pretty much, a 48-year-old stand-up who resides with his cats (but not his girlfriend -- the fictionalized Maron lives alone), records his podcast in his garage and is prone to acerbic oversharing. Maron has worked on stage, in TV, film and radio for years -- most recently he guested on an episode of "Louie," served as a type of mentor figure in Mike Birbiglia's "Sleepwalk With Me" and played a significant role in the documentary "The Bitter Buddha."
