Wednesday evening’s TV ratings are in.  Here’s a brief look at the highlights: The ABC comedy Modern Family returned from its hiatus to a season low 3.2 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.97 million viewers.  That’s a drop of seven tenths from its last original episode’s 3.9 rating, but still high enough to maintain the honor of the night’s highest rated show. The CW’s Arrow was also down with a 0.8 rating and 2.61 million viewers, which is a drop of two tenths from last week’s 1.0 rating. ABC’s Nashville garnered a 1.5 rating and 5.14 million viewers in its return, which is down a tenth from its last original episode’s 1.6 rating.
