Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four) and Gabrielle Wilde (Three Musketeers) will star in Universal Studios' remake of the dark teen romance Endless Love. The 1981 film starred Brooke Shields and Good Reads describes the novel by Scott Spencer "the most powerful novel ever written about young love." It's bout a super passionate romance between a high school sophomore and an older student. When her dad gets wind of what's going on, he forbids his daughter from seeing the boy she loves...and he thinks he can make her dad like him if he were to be a hero, like rescue the family from a house fire....yeah, it all goes horribly wrong. The original was rated R but today it's more likely they'll try and make it PG-13 so they'll have to tone it down.  Of course, this isn't 1981 anymore so the super steamy scenes with a 15 year old girl won't fly anymore anyway, »
