AMC is, across the pond at least, a channel that brings us such treats as The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. But while most of its dramas are either original or adapted from non-film/TV source material, it has occasionally looked to other countries’ output for inspiration, starting with The Killing, adapted from Denmark’s Forbrydelsen. Now it’s the turn of the UK, with AMC working up a new take on miniseries Low Winter Sun. Check out the teaser. The Us version of Sun, which will start with a 10-episode first season on the channel, imports the original version’s star, one Mr Mark Strong, and the basic plot of a cop mixed up in the vengeful murder of one of his colleagues.
