Simon Cowell 'married' his perfect partner for Comic Relief's Funny for Money show tonight (March 15).

The X Factor boss featured in a Red Nose Day sketch in which he rejected last-minute pleas from David Walliams, Olly Murs and others, instead lifting the bride's veil to reveal his ideal match - himself.

The star-studded event featured attendees including Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon as bridesmaids, Robbie Williams giving a reading and Stacey Solomon as an organist.

In the pews, a sobbing Rylan Clark was comforted by Britain's Got Talent's Showbears.

Other highlights this evening have included the return of classic comedy characters David Brent and the Vicar of Dibley cast, and Will Ferrell starring in a special Comic Relief sketch as Anchorman's Ron Burgundy.

Viewers also saw Jessie J appear with a shaved head for charity, prompting Dermot O'Leary to say: "You look like GI Jane."
