It won't surprise anyone if Dallas Roberts' character Milton doesn't survive Season 3 of "The Walking Dead," but it'll be even less surprising with the news Roberts is joining the cast of CBS' "Unforgettable" for Season 2.

Roberts has been a prominent recurring figure this season on "Dead" as Woodbury resident and the Governor's personal researcher, Milton. But last week's episode hinted that he's becoming a bit disenchanted with his boss, and the Governor doesn't take kindly to disobedience.

Roberts' casting on "Unforgettable" keeps him in the CBS family -- where he's also had a recurring role as Alicia's brother on "The Good Wife." Season 2 of "Unforgettable" is scheduled to kick off July 28 and will introduce Roberts as Eliot, a NYPD detective in charge of major cases.

CBS nearly canceled "Unforgettable" after its so-so first season ratings but gave the show a last minute reprieve order of 13 episodes to air in the summer. »
