George Lucas is a big fan of Colin Trevorrow and his "Safety Not Guaranteed" independent film. He's such a big fan that he actually had conversations with Trevorrow about directing "Star Wars: Episode VII." The job eventually went to Jj Abrams, but now comes word that Trevorrow has been hired to direct "Jurassic Park 4," that Steven Spielberg is on board to produce. And according to some old statements, it seems that Trevorrow was signed many months ago. Back in November he revealed that he's working on a big franchise and hopes not to disappoint the fans. At the time, everyone assumed he was talking about "Star Wars: Episode VII," but Trevorrow quickly denied that, stating that it's another big franchise. "Jurassic Park 4" is being written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), and is set to hit theaters on June 13th, 2014. Click here to »
