Harry Lennix and Ilfenesh Hadera (roles in Spike Lee's Da Brick and Oldboy), have both joined the cast of NBC's drama pilot The Blacklist, which centers on a character named Red (played by James Spader), said to be the world’s most wanted criminal who mysteriously turns himself in and offers to give up everyone he has ever worked with, with the caveat that he will only work with a rookie FBI agent (played by Megan Boone), with whom he doesn't seem to have a connection... or does he? Lennix has signed up to play a Harold Cooper, described as the successful yet cynical Assistant Director of Counter-terrorism at the FBI. And Hadera will play FBI Agent Jennifer Palmer, who is the rookie FBI agent's best friend.
