The future just got a whole lot better-looking. "Friday Night Lights" and "Charlie's Angels" star Minka Kelly has signed on for J.J. Abrams' untitled futuristic police pilot, which has received an order from Fox. Billed as an "action-packed buddy cop show," the project is "set in the near future, when all Lapd officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids."
