According to internet reports, producer Ronald D. Moore of "Battlestar Galactica" remake fame has received an order from Syfy for a 13-episode 'dark thriller' TV series titled "Helix", written by Cameron Porsandeh, with "Lost" producer Steven Maeda as series show-runner :

"...'Helix' will follow a team of scientists investigating a disease outbreak at an Arctic research facility, who end up trying to protect the world from annihilation..."

Will we see 'infected' people looking like festering zombies from AMC's hit series "The Walking Dead", staggering through snowy sets reminiscent of John Carpenter's "The Thing" ?
