Hope Davis (In Treatment) has been tapped for CBS‘ drama pilot The Ordained, executive produced by Frank Marshall. Directed by Rj Cutler from a script by Lisa Takeuchi Cullen, Ordained centers on Tom Reilly (Charlie Cox), the son of a Kennedy-esque family who leaves the priesthood and becomes a lawyer at a top New York firm to prevent his politician sister Packy (Davis) from being assassinated. Packy is a first-term mayor of New York City who’s just announced her bid for re-election — big of heart, loud of mouth, spine of iron. Davis recently recurred on HBO’s The NewsroomWhitney co-star Tone Bell has been cast in Fox’s single-camera comedy pilot To My Future Assistant.
