Mark Ruffalo has denied rumours of a Hulk movie.

The Bruce Banner actor said that he is hopeful that a solo film may be made in the future.

"A lot of folks have been asking about the next Hulk," he wrote on Twitter. "The next time you see my Hulk it will be in The Avengers 2. No plans for standalone.

"I am not giving up on another standalone Hulk," he continued. "But it's not in the works right now. One never knows what the future will bring."

Guillermo del Toro has been attached to a Hulk television show but has said that the project is currently on hold.

Last year, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said that he was confident that the Hulk could carry his own movie.

Avengers 2 will debut on May 1, 2015. »
