Wtf with Marc Maron listeners may have heard a thing or two about the veteran comic/interview guru penning a book through great agony and laziness. Now Attempting Normal is set for an April 30 release. Key facts: Maron posed with one of his oft-referenced pet cats (he's on a roll — his last album featured a feline on the cover), and the memoir will detail "Maron’s journey through the wilderness of his own mind, a collection of explosively, painfully, addictively funny stories that add up to a moving tale of hope and hopelessness, of failing, flailing, and finding a way." Add the book release to a packed Maron schedule including, but not limited to, an autobiographical IFC series, a tour, and the 400th episode of Wtf, all happening this year. »
