Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig — who first worked together on Greenberg — are back together again with Frances Ha, a black-and-white comedy about two best friends living in New York, trying—or not—to get their charming! awkward! endearing! klutzy! lives together. Directed by Baumbach (The Squid and the Whale, Margot at the Wedding) and co-written by Baumbach and Gerwig, who also stars, the movie was a hit on the festival circuit this past fall.
