Napoleon: Steven Spielberg is developing a screenplay written by the late Stanley Kubrick, with the intention of making a miniseries about Napoleon Bonaparte. Kubrick wrote the script in the 1960s (read it here) before eventually abandoning it due to the overwhelming -- mostly financial -- challenges involved. Back in 2001, Spielberg wrote the screenplay and directed A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, another project that originated with Kubrick and spent years in development.
