Mary Elizabeth Winstead has said she is open to a role in Ant-Man.

The Scott Pilgrim star explained that she would "love" to work with director Edgar Wright again.

"Sure, I can be in Ant-Man. Why not?" she told IFC.

"I love him and hopefully we'll work together again."

Winstead played Ramona Flowers in Wright's adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim. The eponymous hero was forced to defeat her seven evil exes before the pair could date.

Wright's superhero origin movie will arrive as part of Marvel Studios' Phase Three.

Ant-Man is scheduled for release in 2015. »
