Less than a week after the Oscars where The Weinstein Company took home three awards, two for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained and one for David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook , the studio, notorious for its strong drive during awards season, has dated four of its recent pick-ups for the fall season. Things kick off on October 18 with Ryan Coogler's Fruitvale , a movie that The Weinstein Company picked up in a fierce auction at the Sundance Film Festival before it won two of the festival's top prizes.
