New comic book Wednesday has come and gone. The dust at your local comic shop has settled. An eerie silence descends as you finish reading your last superhero book of the week. Now it's time for something a little more sinister. Welcome to Bagged and Boarded: comic reviews of the sick, spooky, twisted and terrifying!

Hack/Slash No. 24

Cassie and Vlad are separated. Cultists are forcing people to go through a giant maze and kill each other or their loved ones will die. A group of soda-loving concert goers wearing mime make-up (haha) go crazy for their beloved soda. And Cassie beats the crud out of some dumb/evil cops. Follow me here?

Bag it or board it up? We're well on our way with the story at this point. And it's fun to see Vlad get some great solo scenes in this comic. This is a fun issue if you've been following along, »
