Saw and Insidious director James Wan returns to scare your socks off (again) with The Conjuring, a supernatural horror film (very) loosely inspired by real events. The story revolves around a husband and wife (Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor) who move with their daughters into an isolated farmhouse, where they encounter dangerous specters and “a dark presence” that isn’t thrilled about sharing its place with the living.

Patrick Wilson (Insidious) and Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel) are costarring as Ed and Lorraine Warren, two experienced paranormal investigators who get more than they bargained for when they travel to the haunted building in Harrisville.
