"Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and "Dark Shadows" scribe Seth Grahame-Smith has performed a polish on the script for the "Fantastic Four" reboot at 20th Century Fox.

Josh Trank ("Chronicle") is directing the project which will take a grounded superhero and sci-fi approach to the heroes that will tap deep into the comics mythology.

Jeremy Slater wrote the initial script. "X-Men: First Class" director Matthew Vaughn recently came on board to produce.
