According to People, the ceremony took place at Crossroads Baptist Church. McCready's casket (brought to the service in a white hearse) was adorned with white roses. Some of McCready's cousins, as well as her brothers Timothy, Joshua and Skyler, acted as pallbearers.
Mementos of McCready's life filled the sanctuary, as two video screens displayed photos of the singer while some of her songs played.
McCready's mother, Gayle Inge addressed the attendees, saying, "Mindy adored her two children. She wanted them to know that. Through much agony and pain, she went to heaven. She is no longer sick. She is healed. Thank you for all who are here. Please pray for those boys. No matter »
