HollywoodNews.com: Indie-financed “Young Adult,” the new film from director-writer combo Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody, has found a home at Paramount Pictures.

The studio picked up worldwide rights; film is being bankrolled by Mandate Pictures. Paramount handled Reitman’s “Up in the Air” last year which was nominated for six Oscars.

Young Adult” centers on a divorced fiction author who returns home to track down an ex-boyfriend. Film stars Charlize Theron, Patrick Wilson, Elizabeth Reaser and Patton Oswalt. Production is currently underway in New York.

Paramount is also working on “Jeff Who Lives At Home,” which Reitman is producing.

“We immediately jumped at the chance to work with Jason again,” Paramount Film president Adam Goodman told Variety.

Reitman and Cody’s previous collaboration “Juno” minted close to $230 million at the global B.O. and a best original screenplay Oscar trophy for the femme scribe.
