So, we picked Jennifer Lawrence as our Woman Of The Year for 2012, and....toldja. If there was any doubt last fall, the actress secured her place as America's sweetheart Sunday night by being the awkward nerd we all wanted to be at the Oscars. From falling up the stairs to get her Best Actress award, to totally freaking the fuck out when Jack Nicholson smoothly hit on her backstage and handling the idiotic questions from the press corps with aplomb, it seems there's one more way for Lawrence to endear herselves to us. Having likely spent the last day or so reveling in her Oscar win, the actress has penned an open letter to director David O. Russell and producer Harvey Weinstein apologizing for her "brain fart" and forgetting them during her acceptance speech. It's a nice letter that's two parts sincere thanks and one part classic Lawrence, and it's just pure class all around. »
