Julianne Hough, "Dancing with the Stars" pro turned "Footloose" and "Safe Haven" lead, and her brother and fellow dancer Derek are partnering with Starz to develop "Blackpool," an original series set in the world of international competitive ballroom dancing. The Hough siblings will executive produce the series and serve as its head choreographers. "Blackpool" will be centered around the annual comptetition in Blackpool, English, and will look at the "darker side of the glamorous world of ballroom dance." Said Starz managing director Carmi Zlotnik, “The world of ballroom dance has captivated millions of people around the world, and there are no more recognizable superstars in this arena than Julianne and Derek.
