"Nothing short of gripping." Phase 4 Films has debuted the theatrical trailer for one of SXSW 2012's big hits, the Audience Award winner, a film called Eden directed by Megan Griffiths. It stars Jamie Chung as a young Korean-American girl, captured and forced into a prostitution ring for two years. The plot seems to involve her inspiring hope in the other girls, but she also "ensures her own survival by carving out power and influence" in the human and drug trafficking ring. The supporting cast includes Beau Bridges, Scott Mechlowicz, Matt O'Leary and many others. Music is a bit cheesy, but otherwise it doesn't look too bad.
