Two wins for the Affleck family! Just hours before Ben accepted the an Oscar for Best Picture, he celebrated with his daughter Violet, 7, who won a local spelling bee! Congrats to the Affleck family!
Ben Affleck, 40, may have won big at the 85th Academy Awards on Feb. 24 — he took home the biggest honor of the night, Best Picture for Argo — but he wasn’t the only Affleck family member to take home a trophy! That same day, his daughter Violet Affleck, 7, won a Los Angeles spelling bee!
Hours before walking the Oscars red carpet on Feb. 24, Ben was with his oldest daughter, proudly watching as she took home the winning trophy for a local spelling bee! The two were spotted walking back from the competition, hand-in-hand like an adorable father-daughter duo, with Violet’s smile a mile wide. She even had one her competition number still on the front of her shirt — too cute! »
