Life of Pi picked up two early wins at the 2013 Oscars on Sunday night, while Django Unchained star Christoph Waltz earned his second Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. 

"We participated in a hero's journey," an emotional Waltz said in reference to Django's director, Quentin Tarantino. "You scaled the mountain because you're not afraid of it."
