Snitch Steals Friday Top Spot from Thief Summit Entertainment's Snitch topped the Friday box office narrowly ousting Universal's Identity Thief in second. The Ric Roman Waugh crime action/thriller starring Dwayne Johnson on its debut weekend, grossed $4.14 million and heads towards around $11.5-12.5 million come Sunday estimates time. Identity Thief starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy was very close behind with $4.1 million grossed, running in its third weekend. The film has accumulated over $83.7 on the domestic front from a $35 million budget. Pic should contend for first place with Snitch come Sunday. »
