"Plants vs. Zombies" has been fixture on the App Store charts since it was released for iOS back in 2010. The game has seen countless downloads, and now, for the first time ever, PopCap's comical tower defense title is available for free on iPhone and iPad.

Considering how popular the game has become across PC, Mac, Xbox Live, iOS and Android, there's a good chance you already have it, somewhere. But if that somewhere isn't your iPhone or iPad, today's your day.
